The Municipality of Pictou County Votes in 2024

My name is Marc Hanna and I am a resident of District 7 in the Municipality of Pictou County. I have withdrawn my nomination in order to put my support behind Christina Cameron

Saturday, October 19th 2024 is Election Day but voting begins before that.

Voting opens at noon on October 6th and continues until October 19th at 7:00pm. There are NO PAPER BALLOTS. So, you will vote by phone or by internet. Watch for your Voter Information Letter in the mail!

If you need assistance or are unable to vote by phone or internet for reasons such as physical impairment or poor internet access you can go an vote in person at one of the two Municipality of Pictou County voting Kiosks.

Dates for the kiosks are October 12th and October 15th. They will be open from 12:00pm (noon) until 8:00pm. On Election Day October 19th the hours will be 8:00am until 7:00pm.

Kiosks will be located at the Wellness Centre at 2756 Westville Road and the Scotsburn Fire Hall at 4179 Scotsburn Rd.

The help desk will begin operating on October 7th at 9:00am and will be open until 8:00pm daily (the only day the help desk will not be open is Sunday, October 13th.) The help desk phone number will be on all Voter Information Letters.
